OSCARS: Dress up as your favorite celebrity and spend an evening celebrating all things Oscars during the Smithsonian Associates’ “A Red-Carpet Night with Oscar.” Film writer Noah Gittell will lead a discussion around the history of the Academy Awards, the most memorable Oscar ceremonies, and of course, this year’s nominations. Wax versions of your favorite celebrities will be available for photos ops. Ticket includes one complimentary drink, (cash bar also available). There will be an award for the best dressed, and when you give your Oscar predictions, you’ll be eligible for prizes awarded after Sunday’s show. S.
