For many D.C. residents, the beginning of seasonal street sweeping marks the end of winter. Unfortunately, Washingtonians will have to wait a little while longer for winter to be over: thanks to the snow and ice, street sweeping will resume on March 16.
Street sweeping season, which usually lasts from March 1 to October 31, usually means that District motorists can’t park on certain streets during certain days, lest face a fine of $45.
So hang in there, D.C.: Spring is coming, along with $45 fines for forgetting to move your car.
