Barring any more handrails catching on fire, Metro service this weekend isn’t looking too bad, but with only two lines undergoing scheduled track work. However, that means other lines are running trains every 18 minutes to coordinate with scheduled track work. Here’s a look at what’s going on:

Orange Line

Orange Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend to coordinate with rebuilding on other lines.

Silver Line

Silver Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend to coordinate with rebuilding on other lines.

Blue Line

Blue Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend.

Work Performed: Rail replacement, joint elimination, tie and insulator renewal for a safer, more comfortable ride. To support this work, Blue Line trains will share one track between Braddock Road and Reagan National Airport.

Yellow Line

Yellow Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend between Huntington & Mt. Vernon Sq only. If you are traveling to or from a station north of Mt. Vernon Sq, use a Green Line train to complete your trip.
