If Netflix decides to set the next season of House of Cards in Westeros, they’ve already got the intro credits basically done for them.
The Washington Post’s Osman Malik, Cameron Blake, and Julio C. Negron re-set the epic title sequence in D.C., imagining what The District of Thrones would look like. And, yes, they make the requisite Boehner joke.
The music is different (“you try licensing music from HBO,” they write). But they’ve helpfully included the original opener below, so you can just play both at the same time and mute the District version.
