Perhaps you’ve been slacking, or just haven’t had the time. Hey—we’ve all been there. Life gets in the way and suddenly it’s April 15 and you still haven’t done your taxes. Luckily, the D.C. Office for Tax and Revenue is here to help.
They’ll be open late on Wednesday to help D.C. residents file their taxes on time. In a release, the OTR says they’ll have walk-in centers and their customer service line open from 8:15 a.m. to 8 p.m. They’ll have free preparation for individual income tax returns for D.C. residents at the walk-in center at 1101 4th Street SW Suite W270. All you need to bring is a copy of your completed federal tax return, your W-2 forms and schedules, and a valid driver’s license or a different form of identification.
