It’s poised to be another gorgeous, if not sticky, weekend in D.C., which means you’ll probably want to do something outside. Maybe you’ll want to take the Metro to go do said outdoor activities. Maybe you don’t want to wait a thousand hours for the next Metro train. (You won’t have to wait a thousand hours).

Here’s all the scheduled track work you should know about this weekend. Oh, and you should also know Metro is opening at 5 a.m. on Saturday for all traveling to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Orange Line

Orange Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend.

Orange Line trains will share one track between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly to allow for platform rehabilitation, joint elimination, grout pad replacement, track fastener and insulator renewal for a safer ride.

Blue Line

Blue Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend.

Blue Line trains will share one track between Braddock Road and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to allow for joint elimination, track fastener and insulator renewal for a safer ride.

Yellow Line

Yellow Line trains will operate every 18 minutes between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square only. Customers traveling to/from stations north of Mt. Vernon Square should use a Green Line train to complete your trip.
