It’s been about two months since Bao Bao moved out of her mom’s house and into her own place and she’s doing just fine, thanks for asking.

In a Very Important Panda Update, the National Zoo says that Bao Bao is very much enjoying her new yard, “picking out some favorite spots,” which include an area right below the bamboo shed and a maple tree toward the middle of the yard. Oh and the Zoo says Bao Bao’s waterfall and pool just got filled for the season.” That’s right, her new place has a waterfall and pool. Damn. I didn’t even have a dishwasher in my first place.

The Zoo also says that as the pandas enter breeding season, visitors can expect to see them out and about more often, hanging out between the three different panda yards. Let’s just hope they don’t get too excited for breeding season.
