Just a day after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a MARC train by Union Station yesterday, another personal has been fatally struck by a train in D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department says a person was fatally struck by a CSX train in Southeast this morning, just before 5 a.m. Units responded to an area of tracks near Pennsylvania Avenue and M Street SE.

No other information has been released by police at this time.
