So much art and music this weekend…

FRIDAY

ART + MUSIC: Explore the Luce Foundation Center, listen to live music by the Pleasure Curses and Young Rapids, and enjoy free tastings from Hellbender Brewing Company. American Art Museum (8th and F Streets NW) 6-8 p.m. Free.

MORE ART: Look at (and buy) custom designed t-shirts, prints, and other objects at “The Alley,” a pop-up shop and exhibition. The shop will also be open Saturday and Sunday, but opening night festivities include live music and a music video launch by Furniteur. (1250 9th Street NW) 7-11 p.m. Free

MORE MUSIC: Furniteur isn’t the only one premiering a video tonight. As part of VRTL REALITY, a visual installation and music exhibition, Julian Casablancas and The Voidz will premiere the short film Human Sadness. The Fridge DC (516 8th Street SE) 8 p.m.-12 a.m. Free.

SATURDAY

ART: “Clash of the Arts,” is a community for all artists and art enthusiasts to come together in celebration of everything from poetry, to dance, to mixology. Watch as “mixologists are inspired by a rapper’s lyrics” or a “poet’s words are interpreted by a dancer.” Blind Whino (700 Delaware Avenue SW) 6 p.m.-12 a.m. $10-20.

MUSIC: #CRANKPARTY is back! It’s the event that is as “thrilling as your favorite music festival and as intimate as your best friend’s house party,” (if your friend lives in a nightclub). Liv Nightclub (2001 11th Street NW) 10 p.m.-2 a.m. $10-25.

COMEDY: Can people that don’t drink actually be funny? Find out during “Clean But Not Clean.” The Argonaut (1433 H Street NE) 8 p.m. $10

SUNDAY

MURALS: Mazi Mutafa, Executive Director of Words Beats & Life, will lead a bike tour of D.C. murals. BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike). BicycleSPACE (700 5th Street NW) 11:30a.m.-3:30 p.m. Free.

ART: The (Up) Rising Festival by Recreative Spaces will feature work from 40+ vendors. ReCreative Spaces (1613 Rhode Island Avenue NE) 1 p.m.-1 a.m. Free, but donations are encouraged.

DRAG: During “A Drag Salute to the Divas,” watch impersonations of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Destiny’s Child, TLC, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, and more. The Howard Theatre (620 T Street NW) 7 p.m. $20-50

MONDAY

REUNION: The Gibson is hosting a Family Reunion. Their version includes a free “special” popsicle upon entry, BBQ (veggie options available), blended drinks, and music by DJ’s Jazdux and John Jazz. (2009 14th Street NW) 2-7 p.m. $10 (Food will be an additional charge)

BILLY CORGAN: This year’s National Memorial Day Parade will feature a performance by Billy Corgan and whoever else is currently in The Smashing Pumpkins. (Constitution Avenue) 2 p.m. Free.

ZOMBIES: It’s 2063. We have our first openly gay President, and there are zombines in the White House! Find out who/what the President will save during this Pay What You Can Performance of Zombie: The American. Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company (641 D Street NW) 8 p.m. PWYC sales begin at the box office at 6 p.m.
