Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person seen on surveillance video knocking out an elderly man before rifling through his pockets in Southeast.

The attack took place after an apparent argument around 5:45 p.m. on May 17 in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE. In the video, a man in a red shirt punches the victim, and begins to walk away before coming back to take something out of the seemingly unconscious man’s pocket.

The victim was robbed of $1, the AP reports.
