You read it right, folks: Crumbs & Whiskers—D.C.’s first Cat Cafe—is opening on June 20.

In a release, founder Kanchan Singh says that the cafe will officially open on Saturday, June 20 in Georgetown (3211 O Street NW). Like, for real.

In anticipation of the cafe for cat enthusiasts’ opening, there will be special events happening all week. From June 15-18, they’ll be throwing “backstage parties for select Kickstarter backers as well as our social media contest winners” (which she says there will be a ton of chances to win). June 19 will be the official launch party, which is already sold out, but Singh says that there will be so many photos and videos on their social media accounts that “you’re pretty much going to feel like you are at the party.” Phew.

But don’t start lining up for that June 20 opening yet, according to the release, you’ve got to schedule a visit to the cafe, which will go live on June 15.
