Normally, the departures gates at DCA are second only to the security line in bringing out the terribleness in humanity. That didn’t stop a pair of World War II veterans from cutting loose while waiting for their flight last month.

Marin Perryman and Paul Kopey were in town as part of a Honor Flight to see the war memorials. On their way home, the Ladies for Liberty, a Kentucky-based singing troupe, serenaded them with the Andrews Sisters’ “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.” While onlookers gawked and took cellphone videos, the two men put everyone else’s dancing skills to shame.
