Good news selfie enthusiasts: you don’t have to risk being arrested while taking a selfie at the White House anymore. A longstanding camera and photo ban has been lifted allowing visitors to flick as much as they want along the White House tour route, provided they don’t interfere with other guests (this may or may not include photobombing).

To announce the change in policy, the First Lady posted this video on her Instagram account. Visitors are also encouraged to post photos using the hashtag #WhiteHouseTour.

Permitted items include phones and compact still cameras with a lens no longer than 3 inches. Still under prohibition are video cameras, including any action camcorders, cameras with detachable lenses, tablets, tripods, monopods, camera sticks, flash photography and live streaming.
