Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale in “Veep.” (Bill Gray/HBO)
Like the rest of the country, Game of Thrones topped Washington’s watch list last month.
But we still live up to the political stereotype, with Veep (evidently Washington Post employees also are Julia Louis-Dreyfus fans), Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and The Daily Show also in our top ten, according to a Comcast survey of the most-watched shows in June. None of those three made it onto the national list.
Of course, the necessary caveat is that these figures are only representative of Xfinity customers. They also don’t include shows only available on Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu or factor in online watching. With that said, here’s how our TV habits so far this summer stack up to the rest of the country.
