Weekend! It’s coming! Before you make your plans, however, know what’s going on with Metro. The best offense is a good defense, they say. That applies for this situation, I think. Yeah, sure it does.

Red Line

Red Line trains will operate every 20 minutes throughout the weekend

Work performed: Rail, tie and insulator renewal for a safer ride will cause Red Line trains to share one track between Judiciary Square & Rhode Island Avenue.

Orange Line

Orange Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend

Work performed: Platform and grout pad rehabilitation will cause Orange Line trains to share one track between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly.

Silver Line

Silver Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend to coordinate schedules with rebuilding on other lines.

Blue Line

Blue Line trains will operate every 18 minutes throughout the weekend

Work performed: Rail & fastener renewal and grout pad rehabilitation will cause Blue Line trains to share one track between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Braddock Road.

Yellow Line

Yellow Line trains will operate every 18 minutes between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Sq only
If you are traveling to or from a station north of Mt. Vernon Sq, use a Green Line train to complete your trip.

Work performed: Rail & fastener renewal and grout pad rehabilitation will cause Yellow Line trains to share one track between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Braddock Road.

Green Line

Green Line trains will operate regular weekend intervals

Work performed: Continued construction of our test track to accept Metro’s new fleet of 7000-series railcars will cause Green Line trains to share one track between College Park and Greenbelt.
