Hey, happy almost weekend. Metro’s track work changes for the next few days are notably less confusing, but unless you’re taking the Green Line to get around, be prepared to wait around. All five other lines have single tracking going on in one or two zones apiece.

Orange Line

Trains every 24 minutes

Single tracking between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory to allow for emergency call box replacement, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal.

Silver Line

Trains every 24 minutes

Single tracking between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory to allow for emergency call box replacement, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal.

Blue Line

Trains every 24 minutes

Single tracking in two zones:
Between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory to allow for emergency call box replacement, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal
Between Arlington Cemetery and Pentagon to allow for joint elimination, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal.

Yellow Line

Trains every 24 minutes Huntington to Mt. Vernon Sq only

Single tracking between L’Enfant Plaza and Pentagon City to allow for joint elimination, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal. All trains will operate to/from Mt Vernon Square, rather than Fort Totten. Customers traveling to/from stations north of Mt. Vernon Sq should use a Green Line train to complete their trip.

Red Line

Trains every 24 minutes

Single tracking in two zones to allow for communication cable, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal:
Between Dupont Circle & Van Ness
Between Takoma & Silver Spring
