Here is the first look at Todo Mas’s latest—the Good Night And Joy Be With You EP. Todo Mas is a project by Dean Emerson, an Olney-based musician majoring in jazz performance at the University of Maryland. The EP will be released publicly tomorrow via his website. Emerson says his influences come from many different genres. On this EP he uses trippy hip-hop samples and downtempo beats in an alternative rock context.

The release includes three tracks: “Paper Dreams,” “Aftermath,” and “Epicureans.” All of them have a dreamy element, over steady beats that keep the listener’s head bobbing. “Epicureans” is the standout track, with its driving and distinct synth.
