One of the two women captured in relation to an October “twerking attack” was sentenced this afternoon.

According to NBC Washington, 22-year-old Ayanna M. Knight of Las Vegas was sentenced to 180 days suspended and six months probation, after pleading guilty on Friday to misdemeanor sexual abuse.

In exchange for her guilty plea, prosecutors dropped the felony sexual abuse charges against Knight. She has been behind bars since her arrest on November 10, which followed D.C. Police posting an edited version of the video on November 7.

The video depicts two women twerking and otherwise groping a man who has not given his consent in a convenience store, and the attack allegedly continued outside of the store.

The victim of the attack has since said that he would like to see the charges dropped and Knight released from jail.

While this particular attack went viral, last week’s D.C. Council roundtable discussion about street harassment demonstrated that these incidents are common for many residents.
