Hoping to say hello to Adele when she comes to the Verizon Center next October?

Well, you might have to do it from the other side—unless you were lucky enough to buy tickets for her concerts before they sold out within minutes after going on sale at 10 a.m. this morning.

Rumor has it that DCist’s own Rachel Sadon attempted to purchase tickets and was greeted by this image:

“I’ll be waiting,” Sadon said, hoping that Adele would melt her heart to stone in concert. “It’s all I ask.”

The sky hasn’t fallen, but as of now most wannabe ticket buyers have declared, “”That’s it, I quit, I’m moving on.”
