A North Dakota man, who the Secret Service alleges was plotting to kidnap one of the Obama family’s pets, was arrested Wednesday and charged with carrying a rifle or shotgun outside of his home or place of business, The Washington Post reports.

At a hearing this morning in U.S. Superior Court, a judge said the case will move forward, and he released Scott Stockert into a “high-intensity supervision program.”

Stockert was arrested at a Hampton Inn near the Washington Convention Center. According to a court document, Secret Service agents found unregistered firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, a billy club, and a machete with a 12-inch blade in his truck.

While the document doesn’t say which pet was targeted, the First Lady did admit last month that Sunny had been pooping inside the White House—still no reason to be petnapped.

According to NBC4, D.C.’s branch was tipped off to Stockert’s plans by the Secret Service’s Minnesota field office. He allegedly told agents, “You picked the wrong person to mess with. I will (expletive) your world up.”

He also said that he was in the District to advocate “for $99-per-month health care and to announce he was running for president,” according to the document. Plus, Stockert not only claimed to be Jesus Christ, but he told agents that his parents were John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe.

While on release, he can’t carry real or imitation weapons or go near the Capitol or White House. His next court date has not yet to be set.
