If you rode the Metro on Sunday, you may have experienced a disconnect that thankfully wasn’t an issue with the Green Line. Some riders opted out of their pants as part of the 15th annual “No Pants Subway Ride,” launched by Improv Everywhere in New York.

According to WTOP, more than a dozen Metro riders were spotted without their undies. “I hate wearing pants, I never wear them. I’m a nudist by trade so if I could walk around every day like this I would,” one rider in pink panties told WTOP.
The worldwide event has attracted thousands since 2001. D.C. riders hopped on the pantless bandwagon in 2008 with about 100 participants and have continued the tradition throughout the years.
