Senior DCist dog correspondent Monkey ventured outside for her first blizzard and reports back that this shit is fun. Her compatriots around the city appear to be having an equally good time, though perhaps no creature is enjoying this more than Tian Tian.
But, of course, please be safe. Emergency crews in Fairfax had to rescue a Saint Bernard after he fell in Woodglen Lake (a family was apparently tubing down a hill when the dog stepped out onto the ice.
