National Airport and Dulles International Airport will both have at least one runway open on Monday, and expect airlines to operate limited flight schedules. BWl Thurgood Marshall Airport is gradually resuming airline service over the next 24 hours.
Currently, Dulles has 247 cancellations and four delays today, DCA has 189 cancellations and 14 delays, and BWI has 126 cancellations and 7 delays, according to the website FlightAware.
Both National and Dulles cancelled flights through Sunday evening. BWI had its first arrival after the snowstorm at about 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
National tweeted that its first flight since the blizzard arrived shortly before 4 a.m. Monday morning.
Travelers are encouraged to check with their airline about their specific flight.
D.C.-area airports, along with those in New York City, were most affected by this weekend’s snowstorm.
