Looks like someone spoke too soon. After letting the snow emergency fare expire earlier this morning, D.C.’s cabs will now resume charging the $15 flat fee “until further notice,” according to a release from the DC Taxicab Commission.

The price of cabs has returned to normal.
The snow emergency fare, which was a $15 flat fee in addition to the costs of a ride, expired at 9:30 a.m. this morning, according to a release.
Some other forms of transportation are returning as all three area airports are easing back into regular flight service.
