If you are dedicated to winter biking (but not enough to actually own your own bike), you’ll have to wait at least one more day.
Capital Bikeshare stations will remain closed tomorrow as staff continue to unearth the fleet (it’s “slow going,” they said earlier). The system will re-open when feasible on a “jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction basis.”
Be sure to say thank you to our crews out there shoveling stations. Shout out to Kevin and Paul at 17th & Corcoran! pic.twitter.com/Nz8jC3ZmuJ

Meanwhile, service will be restored on four of the six Circulator routes tomorrow, operating with 15-minute headways between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. The following routes are back up and running:
- Georgetown – Union Station
- Woodley Park – Adams Morgan – McPherson Square
- Potomac Avenue – Skyland
- Rosslyn – Dupont Circle
Metro announced earlier that 86 of 91 stations will be open tomorrow, and trains will be operating on 8-minute headways. It is unclear when the five stations at the end of the Silver Line will come back online. Bus service has been upgraded from a “severe” service plan to a “moderate” one, which means that 160 routes (mostly on commuter lines) will be running.
Car2go service also remains suspended “until further notice,” but a fair number of users have already taken the company up on their offer of 60 minutes of free drive time in exchange for digging out a car.
