A week after the beginning of the snowstorm, Metro is returning to normal.

Starting Friday morning, Metrorail returns to regular rush-hour frequencies on all six lines, and the Rush Plus Yellow Line service is back in action.

Buses will return to normal service as well. According to a release, 98 percent of bus routes are already back to normal, with snow detours left on only six of Metro’s more than 300 bus routes, as of 3:30 p.m. The agency warns that “some buses may experience delays or isolated, temporary detours due to local road conditions and post-blizzard traffic.”
