Unsurprisingly, Game of Thrones re-runs wasn’t the only thing District residents were watching during Jonas. And indeed, Washingtonians headed to Pornhub much more than usual, according to data collected from the adult website.
Per the request of GQ, which first reported the data, Pornhub looked into viewership in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and D.C. over the storm’s three-day period.
With an average increase of over 23 percent throughout the weekend and a peak of 25 percent on Sunday, District residents saw a higher increase in sexy video perusal than the three other East Coast cities.
Boston’s traffic increased as much as 8 percent on Saturday, when compared to traffic on a normal Saturday. New York jumped 9 percent on Saturday. And Philadelphia saw their biggest traffic change on Sunday with a 14 percent increase.

Pornhub makes the correlation between the site’s traffic increases and the storm based on the device that people were watching on. Using New York as an example, desktop computer traffic increased significantly more on all three days. Tablets, “which are more likely to be used at home than smartphones” saw a higher increase as well.
And in case you’re wondering exactly when porn-lovers indulged most, Pornhub tracked that, too. While traffic in the District was up consistently on Friday and Saturday, the biggest increase—nearly 90 percent—happened from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday. It increased again by 65 percent at around 1 p.m. on Sunday, and then the same jump occurred around 10 p.m. on Sunday (a time that was highest in the other three cities as well).

These figures shouldn’t be a huge surprise though, D.C. has led the nation in porn watching (via Pornhub) for quite some time now.
