For the filming of Jackie over the weekend, the cast and crew recreated the funeral procession for President John F. Kennedy in D.C.
In the film, Natalie Portman stars as Jackie Kennedy in the days following her husband’s assassination in 1963 and Peter Sarsgaard plays Robert Kennedy.
The Daughters of the Revolution Constitution Hall, White House, and Hamilton were all sites of production trailers, according to Pharoh Martin, the communications manager for Office of Cable Television, Film, Music & Entertainment.
D.C. Police shut down a few downtown streets on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate filming.

If you missed Portman this go around, she’ll be back in town again on March 6 to present her directorial feature debut at the Washington Jewish Film Festival.
