This post has been updated to reflect that Chuck Todd also won in 2012.
Returning Jeopardy! “Power Players” champions Anderson Cooper and Chuck Todd will defend their 2012 titles against a bunch of journalists and politicos, plus Jonathan Franzen, Matthew Weiner, and Louis C.K.
The game show returns to D.C. next week to film the fourth edition of Power Players Week, as well as the Teachers Tournament and the quarterfinals and finals of the Teen Tournament.
The 15 players, of varying degrees of fame, will be competing for charity, with the winner earning a minimum of $50,000 and the others $10,000 for the group of their choice.
Joining Cooper, Franzen, Weiner, and C.K. will be CNN’s Kate Bolduan and David Gregory, ABC’s Sunny Hostin, former RNC chairman and current MSNBC analyst Michael Steele, former MSNBC host Melissa Harris Perry, CBS’s Lara Logan, NBC’s Chuck Todd, The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart, Republican strategist Ana Navarro, conservative commentator S.E. Cupp, and Senator Al Franken.
Tickets have already been distributed to the April 9th taping, but the Power Players Tournament episodes will air the week of May 16-20.
