Update: The Metro Transit Police announced on Twitter that they have arrested Daniel Brown on charges of attempt murder, first degree assault, and lesser charges.

Daniel Brown, 50, was handing out the Washington Post’s Express newspaper when he got into an altercation with a 24-year-old man. The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but was in stable condition.
