D.C. public school students will have to make up for time lost for snow days this year… but not a lot of it. DC Public Schools announced today that the 2015-16 school year is being extended by one day, keeping students in classrooms until 12:15 p.m. on June 17.

The day prior, June 16, was originally slated to be a half day for staff professional development, but it will now be a full day for students. In January, students had two and a half snow days.
