If you’re on a tight lunch budget, Jimmy John’s has got you covered tomorrow. The sandwich shop announced that it’s selling subs for $1 on its first-ever Nationwide Customer Appreciation Day. The shop’s Facebook announcement garnered comments from more than 1,000 hungry customers asking for details.
So here’s the skinny: The deal applies to menu items numbered 1-6, which collectively include ham, tuna, roast beef, turkey, salami, and veggies. The Slims (any sub minus the veggies and sauce) and the BLT sandwich are part of the deal as well, according to the company’s website. Sales tax “will be assessed at point of sale,” and you may be charged extra for wheat bread. Customers can only get one $1 sandwich per person (per order), however, they can go through the line as many times as they’d like. The deal isn’t good for delivery or online orders, so you’ll actually have to wait in line.
Five D.C. locations are participating in the offer, which runs tomorrow from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
