ROCK: District-based rock band Humble Fire titles Luce Unplugged, a monthly concert series at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Luce Foundation Center (800 G Street NW). At 5:30 p.m., museum staff will dissect a song from the group’s collection. The band will play at 6 p.m. Free.

CANOPY: Whole Foods is presenting “a no-holds-barred night” filled with food, drinks, music, a silent auction, and more to celebrate Arbor Day. The Canopy Awards will honor five groups “going above and beyond to re-tree D.C.” Dock5 at Union Market (1309 5th Street NE) $65.
