While tomorrow’s weather forecast is quite gloomy, free ice cream can still make it sweeter. Häagen-Dazs is running its annual free cone day, giving customers a complimentary scoop of ice cream, sorbet, or gelato from 4-8 p.m.

Plus, they are hosting a virtual ice cream social on Twitter at 1 p.m. Participants who “share their favorite ice cream moments,” using the hashtag #HDfreeconeday, could win a series of prizes including gift cards, and a year of free ice cream.

Ditch the rain at one of the three D.C. locations (Gallery Place, Union Station, Georgetown) or the couple of shops in the ‘burbs.
