Rachel Dolezal was on the campus of Howard University this afternoon. The former NAACP chapter leader said on Twitter that she was showing her oldest son around the historically black university where she was once a student.

But according to Maya Cade, a current Howard student and founder of A Tribe Called News, Dolezal was there to film a documentary about race and identity in America.

DCist contacted the university, which Dolezal sued in 2002 for discriminating against her for being white, to confirm the reason for her visit, but they have yet to respond. The university’s newspaper, The Hill Top, said that they’re waiting to hear from the administration as well. But the student said on Twitter that she confirmed with the film crew and student producer that they are shooting a documentary.
This comes after Dolezal received intense backlash last year when her parents revealed that she was born white, but has for years masqueraded as a black woman (or as she now puts it trans-racial). She resigned from her position with the NAACP shortly after. Last we heard from her, she was doing hair to make ends meet.
Dolezal was also seen at a nearby Potbelly with a baby in tow.
