All six Metrorail lines will experience delays this weekend.

The fourth surge in Metro’s SafeTrack plan began yesterday, shutting down the Blue and Yellow lines between National Airport and Pentagon City, and closing the Crystal City station. As a result, riders can expect trains on these two lines to run every 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the Orange and Silver Lines will run every 15 minutes to coordinate with the Blue Line, and the Green Line will run every 15 minutes due to single tracking. Finally, Red Line commuters will wait between 8 to 16 minutes for trains, also because of single tracking.
