Samantha Bee has made no secret of her disdain for the “Bernie or Bust” crowd—the diehard fans of Hillary Clinton’s primary opponent who have no plans to switch their vote to the Democratic nominee.

(Here’s where we note that this much-ballyhooed contingent is a small sliver of Sanders’ supporters, 90 percent of whom already favor Clinton over Donald Trump.)

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee sent a correspondent to the protests that enthralled media at the Democratic National Convention to determine whether the demonstrators had any plans to switch their support to Clinton. In the great tradition of man-on-the-street interviews, most of the interviewees seem like they get their news from the comments section rather than the articles atop them. The kooky characters had no plans to vote for Clinton, despite the Vermont senator endorsing her and urging his fans to do the same despite concerns about how the campaign was treated during the primary.

Bee gets in her best “bern” in response to clips of demonstrators heckling civil rights legend Congressman John Lewis (D-GA).

“Guys, if you’re gonna protest your perceived disenfranchisement, maybe don’t do it to the guy who wrote the book on protesting actual disenfranchisement,” she said. “If John Lewis can overcome being beaten by cops to ensure Black Southerners the right to vote, you can overcome the fact that a lot of them voted for Hillary.”
