A hotel chain is offering you the chance eat your face…in pancake form.
The Holiday Inn Express is bringing what it calls its Pancake Selfie Express tour to Adams Morgan next week. The company is rolling out a food truck tricked out with machines that pump out selfie-adorned flapjacks in under 60 seconds, says comedian Rob Riggle, who is now the hotel chain’s creative director.
“I know that the kids today love free range denim, food trucks, and selfies… that’s why I decided to combine the last two things to bring you the Pancake Selfie Express,” Riggle says in a goofy promo video.
The truck will be stationed at the corner of Columbia Road & 18th Street NW on August 25 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. You take the selfie, the pancakes are free.
