It looks like Monty and I will be getting our Chipotle fix on Sundays in September because kids eat free.

Over the past several months, the chain has been trying to boost sales following an E. Coli outbreak that erupted last year. The latest offering is a buy-one-get-one-free deal: with an order of a burrito, a bowl, tacos, or a salad, get a a complimentary kids meal on Sundays. The kids meals, which have the option of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and salads, will come with a “nifty Dragons Love Tacos activity sheet,” the company says in an announcement.

Among other incentives, Chipotle told people to text “RAINCHECK” to 888-222 to get a coupon for a free burrito in February, which led to a dialing mixup causing one D.C.-area lawyer to receive nearly 300 texts from deal seekers. At the time, the chain had just been declared E. Coli free.

And since then, the company has let customers earn free meals, drinks, and more.

The kiddie promo will run every Sunday in September. Chipotle has nearly two dozen restaurants in the District.
