Next month, a group of creatives will gather to collaborate on the White House’s South Lawn, and you could be one of them.
Inspired by his trip to the South By Southwest Festival in March, President Obama is inviting innovative people who work to “improve the lives of their fellow Americans and people around the world” to meet him in his backyard, according to a release from the White House.
On October 3, South by South Lawn will feature panel discussions, interactive booths, student films, and musical performances. The daylong affair is being coordinated by the American Film Institute, the President’s Committee on Arts and Humanities, and South by Southwest.
You can nominate yourself or a friend to attend by September 10 at 5 p.m.
