Can someone please tell Donald Trump that a White House is up for auction and end our long national election nightmare?
Six bedrooms and seven bathrooms are spread through a 12,500 square foot mansion in McLean that mimics the facade of the presidential abode at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The realtor has dubbed it “The White House on Georgetown Pike.”
A partner at the real estate auction firm Tranzon Fox told WTOP, which first reported that the house was up for sale, said he expects opening bids in the $3 million price range. It was also briefly listed a few years ago for nearly $7 million.
Alas, Donald Trump never responded to inquiries about buying another White House replica in the neighborhood. Still, you all have until October 6th, when the auction opens, to convince him to bid.
