Madame Tussauds’ first ever pet installation will belong to none other than Grumpy Cat. And the famous feline, known to her owners as Tardar Sauce, will unveil her wax figure in person (in cat?) at the D.C. museum on September 28.

The world was introduced to the frowny-faced feline via a photo posted to Reddit in 2012, followed by a viral Youtube video. It was the phenom that launched a thousand memes, a book that teaches “the fine art of grumpiness and includes enough bad attitude to cast a dark cloud over the whole world,” a movie appropriately titled Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, and lots of apparel.

But don’t let her surliness fool you. Gothamist got up close and personal with the droopy-eyed beauty a few years ago at an awards show for viral cat videos (yes, you read that right) and they report that she’s, in fact, “bizarrely docile and calm” (and also much softer than they expected).

Her entry at Madame Tussauds will be animatronic, which marks another milestone: the first official mechanical recreation made by the attraction in over 100 years, according to a release from the museum. The look-alike “will act as most cats do, lounging on a red cushion and gently interacting with those who approach it.”
