HORROR FILM: A Suspiria remake starring Chloe Moretz, Dakota Johnson, and Tilda Swinton is in the works, but this week you can watch the original 1977 film at Suns Cinema. OUTDOOR ETHICS: Join Leave No Trace traveling trainers Stephanie Whatton and Andy Mossey for the latest edition of Mappy Hour. Steph and Andy travel along the Eastern United States in their Subaru, sleeping outside over 250 nights a year to train communities in outdoor ethics. THEATRE: Kiss, by Chilean playwright Guillermo Calderon, makes its U.S. premiere at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. This politically charged drama about cultural boundaries will run through November 6, but tonight is your last opportunity to see the play for a pay-what-you-can price. Ticket sales begin at 6 p.m. (but the line forms as early as 4 p.m.) Show begins at 8 p.m.
SINFUL STORIES: Pride, greed, envy, wrath, sloth, lust, and gluttony. Hear seven minute stories about the seven deadly sins during this month’s edition of Story District. (Town Danceboutique) 8 p.m. $15
ORCHESTRA IN THE STREETS: Bohemian Caverns didn’t make it, but pedestrians who head over to Blagden Alley will have a unique opportunity to hear the Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra this evening. Although they will be spread throughout the area, the scattered members of the orchestra will be playing the same music (inspired by Duke Ellington). The idea is that people can experience the sounds of each instrument without losing sight sound of the whole. It is the final event of the What’s Going On: Voices of Shaw festival. 6 p.m. FREE
