The 41st annual Marine Corps Marathon is happening on Sunday, and dozens of D.C. streets will be closed from west of Dupont Circle down to the National Mall.
The race begins at 8 a.m. in Arlington and then crosses into the District. The following streets along the race route will be closed from about 5 a.m. until 1 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

- Westbound M Street will remain open up to Wisconsin Avenue, NW. Motorists will be forced to turn north on Wisconsin Avenue, NW from M Street, NW or east from Wisconsin Avenue, NW to M Street, NW. Westbound M Street, NW will remain open unless otherwise determined.
