While we’re all standing around waiting to hear if the republic has fallen, D.C.’s government agencies are also frozen in terror. Well, they’ve gotten wind of the mannequin challenge, anyway, to varying degrees of success.

(Yes, yes, make all the jokes about how the government doesn’t do anything normally, so this isn’t any different. They’re original.)

Earlier today, Hillary Clinton and her staff participated in the mannequin challenge aboard their campaign plane, which, Gothamist notes, is “certain to lock up the elusive Venn Diagram of undecided voters who only learned what the Mannequin Challenge is from reading an article in the NY Times yesterday.”

Meanwhile, around the region, the Wizards dance team, Fox 5, staffers at the French embassy, and schoolchildren all got in on the action—or lack thereof, as it were.
