Even Ellen needs an ID, at least to get into the White House.
The comedian tweeted a photo of herself—looking bummed but dapper in a plaid, red suit—sitting on a bench in Lafayette Park. Degeneres was named one of the recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom this year. But she forgot her ID and was denied entry to the White House for today’s ceremony.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bruce Springsteen, and Vin Scully didn’t seem to have a problems getting in.
