After a man was stabbed at the Dunn Loring Metro stop this morning, Metro Transit Police arrested a suspect several stations away.

Police responded to a report of a fight at Dunn Loring, nearly at the end of the Orange Line, around 7:30 a.m. The victim is being treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Fairfax Police issued a lookout for a black man wearing a dark gray jacket, and originally said they believed he was in D.C.

Using video footage, Metro Transit Police determined which car the suspect had boarded on an eastbound train. They intercepted the train at Rosslyn and took him into custody.

MTPD is still working to identify the suspect, who had several fake IDs.
