ELVIS’ BIRTHDAY FIGHT CLUB: *UPDATE* Friday’s show is now SOLD OUT. Tickets are still available for Saturday’s 10:30 p.m. show. One of three performances is already SOLD OUT, so don’t miss out on your final two chances (unless you want to go to Baltimore next weekend) to see seven “elaborately staged bouts.” Prior matches have included Freddie Mercury vs The Queen of England, Bridezilla vs. Godzilla, The Count vs. Count Chocula, and Spongebob vs. The Brawny Man. (Gala Hispanic Theatre, 8 p.m. $25, Saturday show at 10:30 p.m. also available)
THEATRE PREVIEW: Scena Theatre’s production of Jon Fosse’s play, Someone is Going to Come, runs through February 5. The play about paranoia and jealousy follows a couple that has moved into a remote house to be alone. However, they soon grow anxious that “someone is going to come”. Catch a preview performance on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday for only $10. (Atlas Performing Arts Center, 8 p.m. $10)
FACT VS. FICTION: How good are you at spotting fact vs. fiction is this post-truth era? Test your skills during Ten Things I Know: A Comedic Test of Fact and Fiction. Comedians unable to fool the audience will “face the consequences.” (The Fridge, 8-11 p.m. FREE)
STAND UP COMEDY: Capital Laughs’ monthly local showcase will feature Randolph Terrance, Ryan Neser, Katherine Jessup, and Matty Litwack.
