Dozens of celebrities excitedly waited in line Friday to get into D.C.’s biggest bash of the night century.
President Barack Obama hosted a farewell party at the White House, which lasted until 4 a.m., according to theGrio. A-Listers snacked on chicken and waffles, among other things.
Celebrity guests in attendance included Chris Rock, George Clooney, Wale, Tom Hanks, Bradley Cooper, Steven Spielberg, Olivia Wilde, John Legend, Usher, Jerry Seinfeld, Anna Wintour, Magic Johnson, Taraji P. Henson, and Lena Dunham, and more, according to E! News.
Solange Knowles, who performed at the event, wrote on Instagram: “Can’t even put into words. Really. We will miss your excellence, your grace, and the phenomenal legacy you have let us all share.”
Pharrell is said to have performed as well.
In the past, the Obamas themselves have paid the bill for these types of events. It appears that no photos of the couple have been released from the party.
Although their guests were banned from recording inside of the party, they still took to social media to share photos from the evening.
