Organizers initially signed up the Women’s March on Washington as a demonstration with an estimated 200,000 number of attendees.

By 11 a.m. today, Metro rail alone recorded 275,000 rides. Those crowded Metro trains were largely filled with positive energy, two trends that held for the day: lots of people and a festive atmosphere.

The crowd was so packed that organizers had to switch up the official parade route.

All those people means lots of hilarious, beautiful, thought-provoking, and weird signs and costumes.

And where did those signs go after the demonstration ended? Well, at least some of them wound up in front of the Capitol Building and on the doorsteps of the International Trump Hotel on Pennsylvania Ave.
